“As an engineer, I work with a lot of contractors, and Scott is by far one of the best I’ve worked with. Scott does high quality work, is very honest and trustworthy, and personable. During our project he clearly communicated every step of the way, was willing to work with us on all sorts of design decisions, and had some very good and creative ideas of his own that we incorporated into our deck, and are very happy with the results. We had a few change order items, but Scott worked with us to keep costs down and was very good at clearly communicating the necessary increases in cost before he did the work, and kept his work within the estimates. The final product is even better than we had imagined it would be (thanks to some of Scott’s ideas), and we will hire Tellurian Construction again if we have a big project like the last one. “We moved into this house five years ago and the yard was a disaster. Chain link fence through the middle, dilapidated tin shed, concrete everywhere and a total jungle of weeds and ivy vines. The first summer we cleared a lot out, but it quickly became clear to us that we were in over our heads and needed to hire professionals. Scott and Erin were amazing to work with from the very beginning, Scott came out and got a good idea of what he was working with and asked a lot of questions, so he could understand what we wanted in our yard. We got a reasonable estimate of costs and timeline for the work to be completed. We chose Scott over a second estimate we got, and we’re so glad we did. He had us pick out what type of stones and color of pavers we wanted, along with some useful tips from him. He did not do plants because we wanted to plant those ourselves. The Tellurian Gardens team got to work pretty quickly, after a few tricky weather days that we had expected. Daniel was professional and proficient in landscaping our yard. He put in the appropriate drainage system and overall did a fantastic job, it became obvious to us that we could not have done what they did on our own. The whole project took only a few weeks and Scott kept us informed of the progress the whole time. Now we have a beautiful, professional looking yard and patio to enjoy this summer with friends and family. I would absolutely use Tellurian Gardens again and would recommend them to others who are looking for an efficient, professional company who does high quality work at a reasonable price.”

“We called on Tellurian Gardens to replace our old, cracked patio with water-permeable pavers, and to add a small flagstone seating area elsewhere in our back yard. The patio had long been a problem during heavy rains when water would collect, occasionally in sufficient quantity to cause minor flooding of our basement. Tellurian Gardens worked with us to craft a plan manage the water, and they installed a beautiful patio based on that plan. Concurrently, they added a charming seating area at the back of the yard. In the end, we have two gorgeous areas in our back yard , and our flooding problems have disappeared (the definitive test came last week when torrential storms didn’t create so much as a puddle). Tellurian Garden’s workers were accommodating, efficient and friendly, and the project’s pricing was reasonable, especially in light of the quality we received.
